PERFORMATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY
Performative Photography is the result of a series of performances done with a point and shoot camera attached to my chest that captured a photo every ten seconds.The photographs were then averaged into one color and placed in a line. Each line represents a single performance.
By representing performances as timelines of color, I can offer a truer translation of the performance experience; solving the problem of the manipulative shortcomings of traditional photographic documentation.
